Brief introduction of Dr. Shrish Bhatnagar

Medical schooling (MBBS) from Jawaher Lal Nehru Medical College (JNMC), Aligarh. JNMC is one the primer medical institution of the country and part of the prestigious Aligarh Muslim University. He went on do Post graduation (MD) in Pediatrics from same medical college.

Upon selection he shifted to Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute (SGPGI), Lucknow, India where he did a 2 years Post Doctoral residency program to get trained in Pediatric Gastroenterology. SGPGI is the first Institute in India to provide a certified training in this subspecialty in India.

Dr. Shrish Bhatnagar hails from a city of Lucknow born and brought up here. He started Pediatric Gastroenterology practice in Lucknow with the purpose of serving the children and adolescents of the Uttar

Pradesh and neighbouring areas Currently Dr. Shrish Bhatnagar is working as a Consultant Pediatric Gastroenterologist at Eras Lucknow Medical College and Hospital, Vivekananda Polyclinic and Institute of Medical sciences since Oct 2008. He has more than 10 years of experience treating digestive and liver diseases in children. He also is an author of various chapters in different books and has 15 publications in indexed journals to his credit and has guided my student research projects which are bench mark in sorts. He is Executive Editor of Child Today, Official Journal of UP IAP. He also runs his own hospital by the name of Sparsh Child care and gastro Centre, Rajajipuram, Lucknow. It is the only hospital in private setup providing exclusive care to children in field of pediatric Gastroenterology in the entire state of Uttar Pradesh

Dr. Shrish Bhatnagar is also actively involved in Indian Academy of Pediatrics both at city and state level. He Served as Joint Secretary and Secretary Lucknow Academy of Paediatrics for years 2009-12 and 2015 respectively. He has been Executive member of UPIAP for 2 years and organising treasure of UPPEDICON 2013.
